On today's Zero Limits Podcast I am joined in the studio with Mike Atkinson former Australian Army Pilot and Australian Airforce Pilot, Solo Adventurist, Survival Expert and a cast member on Alone Australia, the hit survival TV series on SBS Australia.
For most of his career, Mike was a pilot in the Australian Defence Force both in the army and airforce flying helicopters, fast jets and big jets. Throughout that time also taught survival skills to pilots and members of NORFORCE, a predominately Aboriginal unit that patrols northern Australia. Mike put these skills to the test outside the military on various expeditions in Australia and around the world.
Michael Atkinson, known as Outback Mike on his YouTube channel where he videos his travel expeditions, is one of 10 contestants starring on Alone Australia.
Participants on the show fight to stay in the wilderness as long as possible to win a grand prize of $250,000.
