On today's Zero Limits Podcast I chat with Greg Hallgrimson former Police Chief in Greenwood Missouri.
Greg Hallgrimson was a police chief in Greenwood Missouri, when a father came in ot the police station, and directed officers to an icy pond where he attempted to drown his 6 month old infant daughter. Hallgrimson and another officer rushed to the icy pond after Zicarelli said he had tried to drown his daughter. They found the infant floating face up in the pond, and she was treated for severe hypothermia after she had been in the water for more than 10 minutes.
What took place immediately after the Chief arrived back at the station is something he has no memory of until it was too late. Footage from a body camera worn by another officer at the station allegedly shows Hallgrimson grab Zicarelli by the throat while his hands were cuffed behind his back and throw him to ground. He then punches the man in the face and sits on his chest, telling him, “You deserve to die,” before other officers pulled the chief away.
